THE AMENTIES- The Entry Fee will provide each runner with access to the following:

  • Each registered runner will receive a high quality premium with the event logo.  This race has become known for providing a top notch race premium and we will not disappoint in 2010.  CLICK HERE FOR DETAILS about our 2009 premium that was recognized by Runner's World as the Nation's best SWAG...
  • On the course, runners will be serviced by four water and Gatorade stops complete with Clif Bars, fruit and other snacks. 
  • Following the race, runners will have access to post race snacks, bottled water, cold wash clothes & Watermelon and other fruit
  • Each finisher will receive complementary beer
  • The post race party will include live music.

TIMING- The event will be chip timed and run on a USATF certified 10-mile course.  The event will use the disposable ChronTrack D-TAG timing system that comes attached to your bib.

PACKET PICK UP- Runners may pick up their timing chip and bib number prior to race day at Road Runner Sports in Columbia.  We encourage as many runners as possible to pick up their chips and bibs prior to race day.

In addition we will have packet pick up on race day from 5:30am to 7am.  DO NOT BE LATE as we will not be able to extend this timeline. THERE IS NO RACE DAY REGISTRATION!

No Refunds or Transfers.



POLICIES:  The following items are not permitted on the course: pets, skateboards, bicycles, roller blades, baby joggers, and any other type of vehicle (other than official race vehicles). These regulations are for your safety and the safety of the other participants in the race. The Baltimore 10-Miler reserves the right to disqualify and remove anyone from the course who has any of the above items. Headphones are strongy discouraged [READ FULL POLICY HERE...]


AWARDS- Trophies will be awarded to the Top 3 Male & Female Overall Champions as well as to the Top Male & Female Masters Champion.  Age Group awards will be issued to the top 3 finishers in each of the following age groups:  19 & U, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59 and 60+.  There is no duplication of prizes.

 

2010 RACE PREMIUM- Each runner will receive a FILA lightweight 1/2 zip pullover jacket.  It is made of 100% polyester french terry, with wicking properties, and honeycomb mesh inserts strategically placed for ventilation.  Men's and Women's sizes available!

DROPPING OUT OF THE EVENT
The Baltimore 10-Miler does not allow for refunds or transfers of entry fee.  We do allow runners to defer their entry until the following year should a medical or race approvied issue arise.  Here is the policy

Deferments
If you become injured and cannot participate in the Baltimore 10-Miler in any capacity, you may defer your race entry for one year. There is a $20 processing fee to do so. To take advantage of this offer, please use the form below and mail it along with a check payable to Corrigan Sports to the address listed at on the form. (This process cannot be completed via email or phone as we need written confirmation and payment to process your request.) Your deferment confirmation will be listed on our online confirmation page. Prior to next year's race, you will receive a customized race application that you must return to the event headquarters to complete the process. ALL DEFERMENT REQUESTS MUST BE RECEIVED WITH PAYMENT BY June 8th.

Withdrawals
If you decide not to participate in the Baltimore 10-Miler in any capacity and do not wish to defer your entry until next year, you can donate your race entry fee to charity.  This will allow someone from the waitlist to take your spot in the race.  NOTE:  If you choose to withdraw, you waive your right to pick up your race premium.
