CHARITY PARTNERS SIGN ON TO RUN BALTIMORE 10-MILER

This year, two nationally recognized charity training groups have signed on participate in the Baltimore 10-Miler.  If you need some added motivation to help you prepare for the University of Maryland Heart Center Baltimore 10-Miler, consider signing up with one of these groups:

bomfBack on My Feet is a non-profit organization that promotes the self-sufficiency of the homeless population by engaging them in running as a means to build confidence, strength and self-esteem. Back on My Feet does not provide food nor does it provide shelter, but instead provides a community that embraces equality, respect, discipline, teamwork and leadership. wind cool kids Wind For Change is a combination science lesson and fundraiser provided free of charge to area schools by Justin Berk, Meteorologist for WMAR (ABC 2) in Baltimore, MD. Justin’s volunteer work for the Cool Kids Campaign takes two forms: The Wind for Change classroom fundraiser and his running efforts. His final fundraiser of the school year will be competing in the Baltimore 10 Miler on June 18th. Starting in last place, Justin is collecting $1 for every person he passes.
