DIRECTIONS TO THE BALTIMORE 10-MILER

The Race will utilize the parking lots on the Maryland Zoo property only (LOTS A, B & C.) Runners are asked NOT TO PARK in any other area. NOTE- The Park Entrance off of Druid Park Lake Drive at Gwynn Falls Pkwy. will be closed on race morning. Runners are asked to use the parking lot entrance off of Greenspring Ave. at Beechwood Dr. to access the parking areas.

From I-83 North –

  • Take Exit 7A (West) onto Druid Park Lake Drive. Follow around park crossing Gywnn Falls Pkwy. (Entrance to park at Gywnn Falls & Druid Park Lake Dr will be CLOSED on race morning.)
  • Take next right into park entrance at Liberty Heights Ave.
  • Turn right at Beechwood Dr. into the zoo area.
  • Follow parking attendants to the parking area for the race

From I-83 South –

  • Take Exit 9B (West) to Cold Spring Lane.
  • Travel .6 mile and at the Second Traffic Light, turn Left onto Greenspring Ave.
  • Travel 1.3 miles and turn left at Beechwood Dr. into the zoo area.
  • Follow parking attendants to the parking area for the race.

From I-95 South –

  • Take I-695 West to I-83 South.
  • Take Exit 9B (West) to Cold Spring Lane.
  • Travel .6 mile and at the Second Traffic Light, turn Left onto Greenspring Ave.
  • Travel 1.3 miles and turn left at Beechwood Dr. into the zoo area.
  • Follow parking attendants to the parking area for the race.

From I-95 North –

  • Take I-395 North (Exit 53), and enter city using two left-hand lanes (Do not take MLK Exit Ramp).
  • Turn right on Pratt Street.
  • Travel approximately 1 mile and then turn left onto President Street.
  • Continue straight as President St. becomes I-83 North.
  • Take Exit 7A (West) onto Druid Park Lake Drive. Follow around park crossing Gywnn Falls Rd. (Entrance to park at Gywnn Falls & Druid Park Lake Dr will be CLOSED on race morning).
  • Take next Right into park entrance at Liberty Heights Ave.
  • Turn right at Beechwood Dr. into the zoo area.
  • Follow parking attendants to the parking area for the race

From I-70 –

  • Take I-695 North toward Towson to I-83 South.
  • Take Exit 9B (West) to Cold Spring Lane.
  • Travel .6 mile and at the Second Traffic Light, turn Left onto Greenspring Ave.
  • Travel 1.3 miles and turn left at Beechwood Dr. into the zoo area.
  • Follow parking attendants to the parking area for the race.

From Downtown Baltimore –

  • President St. becomes I-83 North.
  • Take Exit 7A (West) onto Druid Park Lake Drive. Follow around park crossing Gywnn Falls Pkwy. (Entrance to park at Gywnn Falls & Druid Park Lake Dr will be CLOSED on race morning).
  • Take next Right into park entrance at Liberty Heights Ave.
  • Turn right at Beechwood Dr. into the zoo area.
  • Follow parking attendants to the parking area for the race

 

METRO

To avoid traffic and parking you can also take the Metro. Your best option is to park (625 parking spots) at the Old Court Metro Station (Just inside 695) and take the train to Mondawmin Mall Metro Station. The train starts at 6am and will take you roughly 12 minutes to get to the Mondawmin stop. From there it is a 8 minute walk to the Startline.

From Points North- Take 695 West to exit 20, MD 140, South towards Pikesville. Turn Left onto Reisterstown Rd. Turn Right onto Old Court Rd. The station will be 1 mile up on the right.

From Points South- 695 North to MD-26 West/Liberty Rd toward Randallstown. Turn Right at Washington Ave. Turn Right onto Milford Mill Rd. Take the 2nd left onto Scotts Hill Dr. Turn Right at Old Court Rd. Station will be on the left.

 

Walking Directions from Mondawmin- Exit the Station and head North on Liberty Heights Ave, crossing over Reisterstown Rd. Continue for 3 blocks. (Liberty Heights turns into Greenspring)Cross over Swann Dr. and proceed to Greenspring Ave to the left. Take an immediate right down the hill, through the parking lot. Start line will be directly in front of you. We will also have signs and police officers directing you to the Zoo.
